Next Generation Foundation was founded
and functions with the mission to develop a growing network of people
around the world who would contribute and work for the empowerment of
the children by virtue of honest help.
Our goal is not charity alone, but to bring about social change of reason
in the hearts of people. For example, in India, differences in castes,
religion, and region are an hindrance to social and economic growth of
the country. Poverty is a social issue and mere charity will not eradicate
it. A strong social foundation and awareness among the people is the only
solution. We are determined to work towards this goal.
Next Generation Foundation was founded on August 15, 2001 in Shrewsbury,
Massachusetts, USA by three engineers Peo Nathan, Sadanand Bhagwat, and
Praveen Rodrigo. Since then Sadanand Bahgwat had gone to India for good
becoming a social worker in his hometown of Devrukh in Ratnagiri district
in Maharastra and also manages NGF-India, Peo Nathan lives in Shrewsbury,
Massachusetts continuing on the vision of NGF-USA with the help of Naveed
Deshmukh and other volunteers, and Praveen Rodrigo living in Chennai in
Tamilnadu actively takes part in NGF-India activities. Our Constitution
and Bylaws are available to public.
