NIRC Begining of Building Construction: Payabharani on January 27, 2008

Sadanand Bhagwat, who heads the India chapters, has worked tirelessly to start the NIRC project. The stone laying ceremony went off really well with 125 people attending the event. The vision behind the NIRC project has drawn a lot of interest from people of several walks of life. The goodwill generated will enable us to be ready for the first 10 students, who will be joining and attending this residential school in 2009. As the project continues to grow, we will be having more children joining us and by the end of this project we will house and school 500 orphan and underprivileged children from all across India.
