Our Mission 2020
Mission Statement
"The
Next Generation Foundation is committed to eradicating poverty and illiteracy
among children across India. By providing education, healthcare and economic
self-sufficiency to these children and their families, we see to inspire
the next generation with a hopeful vision of the future they cannot presently
imagine."
To achieve our goals, Next Generation Foundation would launch programs
that are consistent with our vision. While we implement our programs,
we shall never falter from our ideal of “compassion with strength”
ready to fight wherever it is necessary and wherever there are injustices
that would prevent children from having the equal opportunity to succeed
in their lives.
Our long-term goals are guided by our progress until 2020. A retrospective will determine if we have stayed the course with our vision, morality and ethics, and we have sustained diversity. Had we enriched ourselves with much more moral and ethical values than we started? And if all that is true, it would be a phenomenal accomplishment. At this point we should have the moral imperative to undertake social changes in the large context that are inline with our vision to promote the Indian Subcontinent’s progress and be a voice for change in the global context. Complete social change could only be accomplished through political change and Next Generation Foundation should consider influencing reforms in the political process of the Indian Subcontinent.
