THRIVE's mission is to attack the root of the problem through long-term efforts. Poverty, lack of adequate health-care, and astonishing rates of illiteracy are cycles of interdependent realities for rural communities in Orissa and beyond. We believe the solutions to these problems are also intertwined.Therefore, THRIVE is committed to:

• Providing clean water and basic health-care development
• Primary and adult education
• Collaborating on vocational training and cooperative efforts in order to promote self-reliance and create equitable partnerships

We believe attaining these goals simultaneously is the most effective method given the problems are inter-related.
